A RecurSave review starts with a signed Engagement Agreement, continues with a secure file upload, and ends with a written outcome. You then decide whether to request the detailed Findings Report.
1. Start your review
Fill in a short form about your business and sign the Engagement Agreement online. The agreement covers fees, confidentiality, and how your information is handled. It is completed online in minutes. No financial records are requested until the agreement is signed.
RecurSave is built for owner-led US service businesses, typically with $500K–$5M in annual revenue, that can provide standard QuickBooks Online exports as static files. It is not a fit for product, retail, e-commerce, or inventory-led businesses, or for anyone seeking tax advice, accounting, audit, debt collection, operational advice, legal services, or regulated financial advice.
2. Upload your files
RecurSave sends a secure upload link tied to your email. You upload a standard set of accounting exports covering roughly the last year, plus current aging reports. The Engagement Agreement details the exact files before you upload anything.
RecurSave does not request system credentials, does not log into your accounting system, and does not connect to live integrations. Nothing is sent over standard email. How files are handled is explained separately from this process overview.
3. RecurSave reviews the records
Within 15 business days of receiving your complete records, RecurSave delivers the outcome of the review.
If material estimated recoverable value is identified, you receive a free Findings Summary showing the number of findings, the estimated recoverable value, and the Report fee. The Summary does not name specific categories, specific transactions, or specific evidence. Those details are in the Findings Report.
If the review identifies no recoverable value, RecurSave notifies you in writing. No Findings Summary is issued, no fee is payable, and the engagement ends with no further obligation.
4. You decide what happens next
If the Summary identifies estimated recoverable value, you have 10 business days to request the detailed Findings Report. The fee is 10% of the estimated recoverable value stated in the Summary, paid before delivery. If you do not request the Report within 10 business days, the engagement ends with no fee.
After the Report is delivered, the engagement ends. RecurSave does not implement changes, monitor outcomes, participate in recovery, or provide ongoing advisory services. You decide whether and how to act on each finding. Accountants and bookkeepers can use the Report as an input to follow-up action.
How the fee is calculated and what RecurSave reviews are described on their own pages. Questions can be sent to hello@recursave.com.
