RecurSave reviews static QuickBooks Online exports through an access-restricted upload. It does not request accounting-system credentials, bank logins, or live integrations.
Confidentiality is in the Engagement Agreement
Confidentiality terms are part of the Engagement Agreement itself, not a separate document. When you sign the agreement, those terms are in force. No financial information is requested or transferred until the agreement is signed.
Access-restricted upload
Files are uploaded through an access-restricted link tied to your email. RecurSave does not accept financial data via standard email. Each engagement uses access-controlled upload access. Files are uploaded from your browser and are not published publicly.
Minimum data only
RecurSave requests only the records needed for the review: a standard set of accounting exports covering roughly the last year, plus current aging reports. No system credentials, no live integrations, and no accounting system or bank logins. Standard exports only.
RecurSave does not ask for:
- Login credentials to your accounting system, bank, or any other service
- Direct connection or integration with your accounting software
- Personal information about your staff, clients, or vendors beyond what naturally appears in the financial exports
- Any information not required for the agreed review scope
Who sees the files
Only RecurSave personnel directly involved in your review. Access is restricted to authorized RecurSave personnel and authorized client-side users. Client financial data is not submitted to public consumer tools for general-purpose use.
Source files after the engagement
Client-shared source files are retained only as long as required for the engagement, or as required by law. Retention, deletion, and any written confirmation are governed by the Engagement Agreement.
This page is a public summary of how RecurSave handles records during a review. The data handling page explains the transfer, storage, and deletion process in more detail. The Privacy Policy and Terms of use are the legal documents. How a review proceeds is described separately.
